Pastor Lamont Jones

Senior Pastor Lamont S. Jones has served as the Pastor-Teacher of Kendall Baptist Church since June 23, 1993. Pastor and Mrs. Jones received the free gift of life on August 23, 1980 at 12th and F Streets, N.W., in Washington, DC. By the grace of God, their hearts were opened when some young people shared the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Subsequently, they joined Mount Sinai Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor David Durham. Pastor Jones was licensed to preach the Word by Pastor Durham and the Mount Sinai Church family on June 23, 1985. He was ordained on March 20, 1993 by the recomendation of Pastor Gregory Sims and the New Canaan Baptist Church. He studied Biblical Theology at the Washington Bible College in Lanham, MD and the CEMI School of Theology. He and his wife Desiree were born, raised and educated in Washington, DC.
